Available positions for GA/TAGraduate Teaching AssistantDescription/Duties:The Computer Information Systems (CIS) Bachelor degree program is accepting applications for ten (10) teaching assistants, each working six (6) hours a week. Responsibilites: Individuals selected will assist with classroom and lab instruction in ISYS 105, Introduction to Microprocessor Applications. Additional duties shall include other class related responsibilites including but not limited to: preparing and grading examinations, recording grades, preparing and distributing class handouts, and preparing and grading lab assignments. Primary Responsibilities: Graduate Assistant will be responsible for analysis, design, and maintenance of College of Business web sites and analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of the underlying databases. Typical skills include: Html, java script, SQL, Access, ColdFusion, Dreamweaver, CSS, and image editing. Qualifications: Individuals who are enrolled in their final semester of baccalaureate studies who possess training and skills in database and web management and who can apply for and meet admission standards to either the Master of Science in Information Systems Management (MS ISM) or the Master of Business Administration (MBA) will be considered. Individuals who have applied for and been accepted to either the MS-ISM or the MBA and who possess the required training and skills in database and web management. Hours and Pay: Undergraduate students in their final semester of coursework will train up to 20 hours per week at $8.00 an hour until commencing graduate coursework at which time their hourly rate is raised to $13.00 an hour. Students enrolled in the MS-ISM or MBA program will work up to 20 hours per week at $13.00 an hour.
