PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES AND AREAS OF INTEREST:

Dr. Woolen's research interests include computer ethics, employee motivation, teaching methodologies for computer courses, the management of technology, and societal impacts of technology. His 34 years of experience in the IT industry include leadership positions (CIO, Associate VP, Executive Director, Director, Associate Director, and Supervisor) and applications development positions (systems analyst, programmer, etc.). Dr. Woolen has taught traditional classroom courses in programming languages (COBOL, BASIC), introduction to IT for non-CIS majors, and computer concepts. He recently completed teaching project management courses in an entirely Web-based format.
